How to install a Britax Convertible Car Seat

First, only place your car seat in the forward-facing position if your child meets the height and weight limit requirement. Before you install your Britax convertible seat, make sure you read the instruction manual carefully.

To start, adjust the harness at the hip. There’s a standard position and an “extra room” position to choose from. Note: The extra room option is ONLY for children that are 2+ years olds. Once the harness is adjusted, you can adjust the buckle by placing it in the forward buckle position. Now, you’re ready to install the Britax convertible car seat.

You can install your car seat using either the seat belt or lower anchor (LATCH) system.

Before you install the tether, be sure to read the user guide and vehicle manual carefully.

Rear-facing (Swedish Method)

To install a tether in the rear-facing position, complete the steps listed below.

  1. Make sure your vehicle has a proper anchor location, which must be a fixed vehicle anchor point that’s bolted to the floor.
  2. Remove the versa tether from the back of the Britax car seat and disconnect the tether connector strap.
  3. Wrap the tether connector strap around the anchor point, and pull the metal clip through the loop of the connector strap.
  4. Lift the tab on the tether strap adjuster to pull the webbing far enough to attach to the connector strap.
  5. Latch the hook of the tether strap to the connector strap, and pull the slack from the tether strap (Don’t tension).
  6. Store excess webbing in the pouch behind the seat.

Here’s a visual demonstration on how to attach a rear-facing tether.

Forward-facing (Swedish Method)

Britax convertible car seat: How to recline

reclining car seats

Making sure that your car seat is set on the correct recline angle is crucial to your child’s safety. Sometimes, you may need to place something like a rolled-up washcloth to set your car seat at the right angle. To begin:

  1. Remove the lower connectors from the storage spots and pull the strap to full length by pressing the adjustor release button. Repeat this.
  2. Recline the car seat completely, and place it in the rear-facing position.
  3. Make sure the base is pressed evenly on your vehicle’s seat.
  4. Connect the lower connectors to the lower attachment anchors.
  5. Make sure the car seat is fastened securely on the seat.
  6. Make sure the car is on level ground.
  7. The car seat should be angled at least 30 degrees from the vertical position and up to 45 degrees from the vertical position for infants.
  8. Use the blue line located on the base as a guide to properly set your car seat in the middle of the recommended recline angle. The blue line should be parallel to the ground.

This video will further explain how to recline a Britax convertible car seat.

How to adjust straps on a Britax convertible car seat

Before you begin, decide if you’re going to set your car seat in the rear-facing or forward-facing position. 1. Lift the harness adjuster lever and loosen the harness
  2. Unhook the harness straps from the yoke at the back of the car seat.
  3. Pull one strap through the shell and cover.
  4. Pull the harness strap through the desired harness slot to the back of the car seat. Repeat this process on the second strap.

The Britax Advocate ClickTight is also built for convenience over time. The fabric cover can be easily removed for cleaning without having to remove or rethread the harness. Who is the Britax Advocate ClickTight Most Suitable For?

source

With proper use and care, Britax Advocate ClickTight can stay with a child from infancy all the way up through 6 or 7 years old, depending on their height and weight.

The ability to convert from rear-facing to forward-facing, along with 14 harness positions, 7 incline positions, and 2 belt positions allows this car seat to remain safe and comfortable throughout a child's early life. The ClickTight installation system also allows you to move the car seat easily and securely to different vehicles regardless of their model or seat belt configuration, without the weight limitations of a LATCH system.

While you can install this car seat using either the ClickTight install or the LATCH system, the LATCH system is a bit more difficult to use and cumbersome. Many people find the Advocate difficult to remove with a LATCH install, and it can be a two-person job.

If you plan on using the LATCH system rather than the ClickTight system, you may want to choose a convertible car seat that is more compatible with those tethers and attachments. For most families and most vehicles, the ClickTight system is a huge improvement, and clearly Britax hopes that such technologies eventually replace LATCH altogether, but it is still needed by some families and in some vehicles.

The Britax Advocate ClickTight is an excellent choice for parents who want superior safety and ease of use for years to come, without having to replace their car seat every few years.

Even better, the Advocate and the ClickTight system are FAA approved and can be easily used and secured on an airplane using the passenger lap belt.

At 20.5 inches wide, it will easily fit into small cars, or 2-across for multiple children, but isn't the most compact model for tiny cars or 3-across configurations. Parents who want an infant car seat that is easily removed and carried, or who regularly travel with 3 children in a compact vehicle, will want a smaller, more portable car seat.

Britax Advocate ClickTight vs. Britax Boulevard

Britax Advocate

VS

Britax Boulevard

Britax is known for convertible car seats, and since both the Advocate and Boulevard have the ClickTight system, it can be hard to choose between them. Here is a comparison of these two popular car seats.

  • The Britax Advocate and Britax Boulevard are rated for children of the same height(s) and weight(s)
  • Both the Britax Advocate and Britax Boulevard have the simple ClickTight installation system.
  • Both car seats have a steel frame and impact absorbing base
  • Both car seats have the 14-position, quick-adjust harness, with the Click & Safe system to let you know the harness is properly fitted
  • Both have 7 position incline with auto-level indicator
  • The biggest difference between the Britax Advocate and the Britax Boulevard is that the Advocate has three layers of side impact protection, while the Boulevard has only two. This not only means that the Boulevard has less protection, but it also makes the car seat slightly lighter in weight, at 29.4 pounds, and a full 2 inches narrower than the Advocate, at 18.5 inches.

While this may make it seem like the Boulevard is less safe than the Advocate, the 18.5 inch width is ideal for very compact cars, and 3-across configurations. Some vehicles and configurations simply can't fit a larger, wider car seat.

The Britax Boulevard offers exceptional safety and protection for a compact car seat in this size range, with the same ease of installation and convertible longevity of the Advocate. Since both car seats are similarly priced, and the Advocate offers greater protection, it's the better choice for most vehicles and configurations. However, if you need a more compact convertible car seat, the Britax Boulevard ClickTight is an excellent choice.

    Conclusion

The Britax Advocate ClickTight is one of the safest, highest quality, long-lived convertible car seats on the market. The ClickTight system makes installation and removal fast and easy, without worrying about LATCH weight limits, or different vehicle belt systems. With three levels of side impact protection, a rugged steel frame, and a harness and cover that never need re-threading, this car seat provides excellent safety for the first several years of a child's life.

This car seat has exceptional reviews and ratings from the NHTSA, experts, and parents alike.

Britax is a company with a great reputation for making some of the best car seats in the business, and the Boulevard ClickTight has earned numerous recognition and awards for safety and quality

Who is the Britax Boulevard ClickTight Most Suitable For?

    source

While the Britax Boulevard ClickTight comes with a LATCH installation system, because it is required by law, LATCH installation is a bit slower and more cumbersome than the ClickTight system. Installing the seatbelt with LATCH is a little bit slower, but removal can be particularly challenging.

If you are planning on using a LATCH installation, either because you need to seat a child in a booster seat next to the Britax Boulevard, or in a minivan where seat belt installation would block access to a row, you may want a car seat with a simpler LATCH install, or simply plan on rarely removing the Boulevard ClickTight.

For parents who need to frequently move, change, or adjust a car seat, the ClickTight system is a huge advantage, and Britax clearly designed the ClickTight system as an advancement and improvement on the LATCH technology they helped to invent. A LATCH system has more straps and tethers, and lower weight limits, than the ClickTight system.

Even better, the ClickTight system works with nearly any vehicles existing seat belt system, unlike some car seats that are only compatible with certain makes and models.

For parents who want a single car seat that will protect a child from infancy through their first several years of life, and who need a near-universal installation system that is fast and easy, the Britax Boulevard ClickTight is a fantastic choice.

What is included with the Britax Boulevard ClickTight?

The Britax Boulevard ClickTight doesn't come with any accessories, but Britax offers an optional anti-rebound bar accessory for additional safety.

Pros and Cons of Britax Boulevard ClickTight

    Pros

    • Single convertible car seat that can protect a child from birth until 49 inches in height (max)
    • Exceptional safety and impact protection
    • Fast and easy installation
    • Adjustable incline and harness keep kids comfortable and protected as they grow
    • Cover can be removed for cleaning without rethreading the harness
    • Premium fabrics and padding for additional comfort

    Cons

    • The cover is not machine washable, and needs to be hand washed and line dried.
    • Difficult to un-install when using LATCH installation

    Britax Boulevard ClickTight Installation

Because the Britax Boulevard ClickTight can be installed rear-facing or front-facing, and with a LATCH system or with a vehicle's lap belt, Britax has a whole series of convenient installation videos.

Each video is short and covers a specific installation method, so you don't have to search for the right video for you.

The playlist also includes videos that show how to adjust the buckles, harness, and other features. The full list of Britax Boulevard videos can be seen here:

    Britax Boulevard vs. Britax Marathon

    Britax Boulevard

    VS

    Britax Boulevard

The Britax Boulevard and Britax Marathon convertible car seats are extremely similar models with many of the same features. Both have ClickTight installation, and both are rated for children of the same size and weight.

Here are all the features both car seats have in common:

    • Child weight: 5-40 pounds
    • Child height: 49 inches or less
    • Child seated shoulder height: 18.65 inches or less
    • Car seat dimensions: 18.5” wide x 23.5” high x 23” deep with a 10.5” x 11.5” seating area
    • Identical harness and buckle heights and increments
    • Same levels and angles of recline
    • Identical NHTSA ratings: 4/5 stars, for the same reasons

In fact, with all these similarities, it's easier to identify what is different about the Britax Boulevard and the Britax Marathon.

The Britax Marathon ClickTight is lighter in weight than the Boulevard, at 28.5 pounds instead of 29.4 pounds. The reason that it is a bit lighter is because the Britax Marathon has less side impact protection than the Boulevard. The Boulevard has two levels of side impact protection, with an energy-absorbing shell and the foam-lined head rest.

The Britax Boulevard, with two layers of side impact protection, has slightly larger headwings than the Marathon, and therefore weighs more. It also has the Click & Safe Harness Indicator system, which the Marathon doesn't have.

The Britax Marathon is a very safe convertible car seat, with ClickTight convenience, and is slightly more affordable than the Britax Boulevard. Depending on your upholstery choices, the Marathon averages $20-$40 less than the Boulevard.

Overall, because the two models are virtually identical in most respects, and the Boulevard is only slightly heavier and slightly more expensive, it seems a better choice to invest in the Boulevard. After all, a convertible car seat is the only car seat you need to help your child travel in safety from infancy through their school years, so it seems smart to spend just a little more and get the model with better protection.

However, if you are looking for almost all the features and benefits of the Britax Boulevard, for a slightly lighter weight and slightly lower price, the Britax Marathon ClickTight is an excellent choice.

Britax Boulevard Clicktight Review By Albee Baby

    Conclusion

It is not always easy to narrow down which convertible child car seat is best for you and your little one. The Britax Boulevard ClickTight Convertible has a little bit of everything.

The one drawback of the Boulevard is that it is not easy to uninstall. The ClickTight feature adds security, but it can be difficult to open when you remove the seat. The same goes for the LATCH strap adjuster. It is also on the heavy side, weighing in at around 28 pounds. It may be harder to install than some seats because of the multiple safety systems; however, it is nearly effortless to use once installed.

Britax Boulevard ClickTight Convertible Car Seat - 2 Layer Impact Protection - Rear & Forward Facing - 5 to 65 Pounds, Circa

Britax Boulevard Clicktight (click image for more info)

The Britax Boulevard convertible car seat has a lot of pros, too. It has outstanding crash protection, and the ClickTight secures it when rear-facing or forward-facing. Also, it has complete side impact protection because of its protective shell and energy-absorbing headrest.

While the Boulevard is on the pricier side, it is well worth it for the protection it provides. You can also purchase additional accessories such as a cup holder and anti-rebound bar for even more safety.

Convertible car seats are ideal for creating a single car seat solution that converts from rear- to front-facing, and grows along with a child. While it's more affordable to purchase a single car seat than upgrade a car seat as a child grows, convertible car seats can still be quite expensive, and Britax car seats tend to be on the expensive side.

That’s why the Britax Allegiance was launched. It’s a more affordable Britax convertible car seat that still offers the quality construction and safety that this popular brand is known for.

Britax Allegiance 3 Stage Convertible Car Seat - 5 to 65 Pounds - Rear & Forward Facing - 1 Layer Impact Protection , Static

The Britax Allegiance is a more affordable Britax car seat that incorporates many of the most popular Britax features and technologies. It has a 10-position harness that never needs rethreading, a removable cover for easy cleaning, and simple LATCH installation with clear labels on the seat itself, for minimal referring to the manual.

The Allegiance is smaller and lighter in weight than other Britax convertible car seats, with a convenient carrying handle on the top that makes it easier to move the car seat into and out of a vehicle.

    Safety

What are this model’s NHTSA ratings? All car seats that are rated by the NHTSA meet federal safety and crash performance standards, so all NHTSA rated car seats are safe. However, the NHTSA also provides car seat ratings for usefulness factors beyond basic safety.

The NHTSA has rated the Britax Advocate ClickTight as follows:

    • Labels: 5/5 stars
    • Instructions: 4/5 stars due to the fact that instruction manual storage may be difficult to find, instructions for determining seat belt types are present but incomplete, and there is no full picture of a properly restrained child next to sizing information.
    • Securing the child: 4/5 stars because there are no illustrations for converting from rear-facing to forward-facing, loose parts are created when the seat is disassembled for cleaning, and the seat was not pre-set for the smallest occupant when first unpackaged.
    • Installation features: 3/5 stars because the owner must refer to the manual for instructions for the belt positioning feature, the LATCH attachments have buttons to depress for removal, the padding may need to be moved to route a seat belt or LATCH attachment, and because a printed/molded line on the restraint must be leveled to the ground.
    • Overall ease of use: 4/5 stars

Who is the Britax Allegiance Most Suitable For?

Britax Allegiance 3 Stage Convertible Car Seat - 5 to 65 Pounds - Rear & Forward Facing - 1 Layer Impact Protection , Static

The Britax Allegiance was designed for parents who want the superior safety and quality of a Britax convertible car seat, at a more affordable price. The Britax Essentials line, launched in 2018, is a more affordable line of Britax convertible car seats that don't have the ClickTight installation system. Without the ClickTight system, these car seats are a bit more difficult to install, but the seats themselves still provide excellent protection and include many of the unique Britax safety features and technologies.

At 18.5 inches wide, and weighing less than 20 pounds, the Allegiance is a great option for parents who need a convertible car seat that will fit in a small vehicle, or in 3-across configurations (in specific makes and models).

This car seat will protect a child from infancy through 65 pounds or 49 inches in height, keeping them safe when they travel for their first several years of life, and it's a great way to get exceptional Britax protection at an affordable price.

What is included with the Britax Allegiance?

The Britax Allegiance comes with a newborn insert pillow.

Pros and Cons of Britax Allegiance

    Pros

    • Single car seat lasts from infancy through 65 pounds or 7 years
    • Exceptional Britax quality and safety, with patented systems that exceed federal standards
    • Three incline positions and 10 harness positions for adjustable safety as they grow
    • Cover can be removed for cleaning without rethreading the harness

    Cons

    • The cover is not machine washable, and must be hand washed and dried flat to prevent shrinking
    • In order to determine if the car seat is correctly leveled, you have to visually measure the line on the carseat with the ground beneath the car (not the car itself), which is a bit cumbersome and may be inaccurate.

    Britax Allegiance Installation

There are no videos specifically for this model. The installation videos on the Britax Child Safety Inc YouTube channel don't reference this model (and the video online appears to be one of those from YouTube), and the independent vloggers and reviewers don't show the installation process.

    Britax Allegiance vs. Britax Emblem

    Britax Allegiance

    VS

    Britax Emblem

The Britax Allegiance and Britax Emblem were both launched in January 2018 as part of the Britax Essentials line. These car seats are extremely similar, and they are both convertible car seats with identical installation.

Both the Britax Allegiance and the Britax Emblem have:

    • Rear-facing weight limit of 40 pounds
    • Front-facing weight limit of 65 pounds
    • Child height limit of 49 inches
    • Child shoulder height limit of 16.75 inches
    • Identical dimensions of 18.5” wide x 26” high x 21” deep
    • Identical seat dimensions of 11 x 11 inches
    • Identical weight at 19.5 pounds
    • Identical shoulder width, harness slot heights and adjustments, and buckle strap depths
    • Both car seats have a 3 position incline
    • Both car seats come with a newborn insert pillow
    • Both seats are rated 4/5 by the NHTSA, for the same reasons

In fact, the only manufacturing difference between the Allegiance and the Emblem is that the Emblem has two layers of side impact protection, with both a foam-lined shell and quick-adjust head protection.

When these car seats were launched, there may have been a price difference between the Allegiance and the Emblem. Today, depending on your upholstery choices, the two car seats are virtually identical in price.

Since the Britax Allegiance and the Britax Emblem are identical in size, weight, features, and price, but the Emblem has one more level of side impact protection, it seems like choosing the Britax Emblem is a no-brainer. After all, if you could give your child an extra layer of protection in the same size, type, and price in a car seat, wouldn't you?

    Conclusion

Family budgets are part of the decision-making process when parents shop around for the best convertible car seats on the market. The Britax Allegiance is one of the more cost-effective choices out there.

The Allegiance offers more than a lower price tag. It is easy to use and has passed the crash test with high grades. However, if you tend to struggle with installations, it is a bit on the difficult side. The ClickTight feature and LATCH strap adjuster adds security but tends to be on the stubborn side when removing the seat.

Britax Allegiance 3 Stage Convertible Car Seat - 5 to 65 Pounds - Rear & Forward Facing - 1 Layer Impact Protection , Static

Britax Allegiance (click image for more info)

It has ease of use when it comes to day to day activity. It is trouble-free to spot clean and has a straightforward design. It has ten shoulder strap height positions and two crotch strap positions so that you can adjust it to fit most children without getting overly frustrated.

If you tend to move a convertible car seat from vehicle to vehicle, the Britax Allegiance might not be for you. Also, the width is a bit much if you have more than one seat or a backseat passenger. But, a lot of parents choose the tradeoff because of the impressive and affordable safety.

The Britax Highpoint 2-stage Belt-positioning Booster car seat is the newest Highpoint model from Britax. Previous models were designed solely as a high-backed booster seat, but this redeveloped model is a 2-in-1 device that easily converts to a backless booster.

The seat has all the benefits of Britax’s highly reviewed high back seat with the ability to remove the entire back and be used as a backless booster as your child grows.  It has a weight range for children between 40-120 pounds and is surrounded by 3 layers of side impact protection. Lush foam padding and arm rests make it comfortable for kids, and the stylish fabric and the great reputation of the Britax brand make it appealing to parents too.

    Overview of the Britax Highpoint

Britax Highpoint 2-Stage Belt-Positioning Booster Cool Flow Ventilating Fabric Car Seat - Highback and Backless | 3 Layer Impact Protection - 40 to 120 Pounds, Gray

Britax is a trusted brand with high safety ratings, and so it is no surprise that the Highpoint 2-stage

Belt-positional Booster car seat is so popular and well-reviewed. The ability to transform from a high back seat quickly and easily to a backless booster means it can grow as your child does. The headrest has 10 height positions making it easy to get the perfect position for your child correct prior to driving.

Arm rests, two dishwasher safe cup holders and comfortable padding and fabric make it comfortable for your child too. The SecureGuard™ clip ensures the lap belt is in the perfect position and helps your child transition from a harnessed car seat to a booster, giving them that grown up feel while still giving you the confidence that they are as safe as possible.

    Safety

The Britax Highpoint boasts 3 layers of impact protection which include its energy-absorbing shell, side cushions and an effective headrest. There is a reason that the Britax has such a good reputation, especially when it comes to safety. The headrest itself has 10 different positions and is quick and easy to adjust, allowing the seat to grow safely as your child does. The headrest is straightforward and quick to reposition, without the need to remove the seat from the car.

As well as the 3 layers of impact protection, the actual design of the seat includes deep side walls to give full side protection to the head, torso and pelvis.

The seat has colour coded belt guides to make it easy to safely, and correctly, install every time, reducing the stress of moving your car seat between vehicles.

The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) gives the Highline a “Best Bet” rating, meaning that this seat has a good belt fit in most cars, SUVs and minivans and The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) give the Britax Highline an overall safety rating of 5 stars!

    Expiration

    • The Britax Highpoint lasts for 10 years.
    • Where to find expiration date on Britax Highpoint? You can find the expiration date by looking at the label on the bottom of the seat.

    FEATURE

    DESCRIPTION

    Design

The Britax Highpoint includes many excellent features that make this model so popular. The design of the seat is modern and made from breathable material that is also soft, making it comfortable for your child. It’s stylish and comes in two different colours, a modern grey and a trendy blue, so it looks great too.

    Safety

SecureGuard™ enables the seat to be safely secured to the belt of the vehicle. What is the SecureGuard™ I hear you say? It is a feature that keeps the seat belt in the correct and safe position across your child’s lap and is an exclusive Britax feature. Having the seatbelt in the correct position across a child’s lap reduces the risk of abdominal injury in the case of an impact. It’s a helpful feature to assist and ensure that children learn the correct way to wear a lap belt when transitioning from a harness car seat as they grow.

    Comfort and Convenience

The fact that the seat has a 2-in-1 capability and can easily convert from a high back seat to a booster seat means it can be used to keep your child safer for longer, without the need to buy a new seat. The seat comes with not 1, but 2 cup holders! This adds to the comfort and independence of the child. These handy cupholders are easy to remove and dishwasher safe, making cleaning easy for the parent. Another great thing about the cupholders being removable means that the seat can fit into a smaller space if needed, making it even more adaptable.

Who is the Britax Highpoint most suitable for?

Britax Highpoint 2-Stage Belt-Positioning Booster Cool Flow Ventilating Fabric Car Seat - Highback and Backless | 3 Layer Impact Protection - 40 to 120 Pounds, Gray

The Britax Highpoint is suitable for children weighing 40 to 120lbs and with a standing height of between 38” to 63”. It would be appropriate for parents who want a seat that will grow as their child does, without the need to buy a separate booster seat. One thing to note is that Britax do make sturdy and robust seats, meaning it might not be suitable for a parent who is going to be changing it between cars every day, but if this is the case it’s not too heavy at 12lbs making it achievable. The colour coded belt guides and easy adjustable headrest would suit a parent who doesn’t like the usual stress that comes with a car seat. If you’re looking for an affordable, safe, adaptable car seat, then this is the seat for you.

What is included with the Britax Highpoint?

The Britax Highpoint comes with SafeGuard™ allowing the belt to be secured safely across your child’s lap. The soft and breathable material, arm rests and dishwasher safe cup holders add maximum comfort to your child. The seat doesn’t come with any additional accessories but there are a number of items you can purchase from Britax; such as seat protectors and car seat caddys.

Pros and Cons of the Britax Highpoint

    Pros

    • There are many pros to the Britax Highpoint, but the main one is definitely that it converts from a high back to a backless booster seat incredibly easily, unlike the previous models which do not offer this feature.
    • The stylish, soft and breathable material of the seat makes for a comfy ride, while the arm rests and cupholders are an added bonus. The cover is removable to make it easy to keep clean.
    • Britax is one of the top brands for safety and is shown by many of the features available on this seat, such as the 3 layers of side impact protection, lap belt positioning clip and colour coded belt guides.
    • To add to the style of the seat and give you extra choice, it is available in two colours, Asher (grey) and Seaglass (blue).

    Cons

    • There are not many cons to the seat, but one is definitely that the seat covers are not machine washable however because you can remove them, cleaning can still be achieved easily
    • Another con of this car seat could be the cost, as it is higher up the price range, there are other similar models from other brands that are cheaper and because Britax make study and robust seats this design does come out a bit heavier than other booster seats available.
    • The process of converting the seat from a high back to a backless seat is simple, however some users have indicated that it required quite a bit of force and they had the feeling that it was going to snap (although this wasn’t the case).

    Britax Highpoint vs. Britax Skyline

Britax Highpoint 2-Stage Belt-Positioning Booster Cool Flow Ventilating Fabric Car Seat - Highback and Backless | 3 Layer Impact Protection - 40 to 120 Pounds, Gray

    Britax Highpoint

    VS

Britax Skyline 2-Stage Belt-Positioning Booster Car Seat - Highback and Backless | 2 Layer Impact Protection - 40 to 120 Pounds, Dusk

    Britax Skyline

Both of these models are from the same range of car seats by Britax and therefore both have many of the same features, such as the Britax 10 year lifespan, 1 year warranty, soft and breathable fabric, two removable cup holders, 10 position adjustable headrest and the well labelled colour coded belt guides. The most attractive feature about both of these seats is that they are convertible.  The two main differences between these seats is that the Highpoint has the SecureGuard™ clip and has an extra layer of side impact protection. This is why the Highpoint is marketed at a slightly higher price and weighs about 1lb more.

    Dawn Champion's Britax Highpoint Review

    Conclusion

The Britax Highpoint is one of the best. High back boosters on the market. It took the LATCH attachment design and made changes so that they could offer a safe and comfy booster seat.

The change in the Highpoint's LATCH system is that the adjuster strap is only on the left side. It makes it both excel in the areas of ease of use and installation. It also means that the booster seat fits growing children of a variety of shapes and sizes up to 120 pounds and 38 and 63 inches tall.

One of the only drawbacks is that the Britax Highpoint is that it does not convert to a backless booster. However, the new accident-resistant fabric makes up for the one con. It is lined with EPP foam, too, helping your child with comfort and a little bit of luxury.

The Britax Highpoint is an easy choice when it comes to child safety and its overall quality. It is affordable, comfortable, and even comes with removable cupholders to hold their cup of juice. As long as you do not mind the inability to convert it to backless, it might just be the perfect fit for you and your family.
